This Galanthus is highly sought after and unique, thanks to its distinctive virescente (green) pattern on both the outer and inner petals. This variety was discovered by Gert-Jan van der Kolk in Zutphen. The flower features relatively broad outer petals (for G. nivalis) with many longitudinal veins. All those elongated veins are light green. Each flower has a dark green dome-shaped 'ovary'.
