This Galanthus is named after James Atkins, from whose garden this snowdrop is believed to originate. It is an old cultivar, known since 1860. The gray-green leaves are striking. The flower is slender yet prominent. On the inner petals, there is a large, light green, horseshoe-shaped mark. This large snowdrop spreads well in any garden soil, primarily through vegetative means, resulting in the formation of snowdrop bulbs.
